HAVE UNEARTHED PALACE OF BABYLON'S FIRST KING

Chicago, Nov. 27--The palace of the first king of Babylon--the oldest architectural structure in the Near East--has been unearthed by the Chicago Field Museum-Oxford University expedition excavating the ruins of Kisk.
Built of small biscuit-shaped bricks and extensively decorated, the palace, though never built over, is in a remarkable state of preservation.
