The url says it all: http://christiannymphos.org. There's more indecency in the church now than there was in the world when I was a kid.
It would be better if these women would exhibit the characteristics mentioned in Titus 2:4-5 and Proverbs 31:10-31.
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10
Daily Luther Sermon Quote - Epiphany 3 Centurion - "Here behold the
attitude of faith toward Christ: it sets before itself absolutely nothing
but the pure goodness and free grace of Christ, without seeking and
bringing any merit. For here it certainly cannot be said, that the leper
merited by his purity to approach Christ, to speak to him and to invoke his
help. Nay, just because he feels his impurity and unworthiness, he
approaches all the more and looks only upon the goodness of Christ. This is
true faith, a living confidence in the goodness of God."

As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion. (Prov 11:22)
ReplyDeleteI must speak out strongly in the defense of the women who run christiannymphos; while I differ with them on some points I think they are by and large on the right track. They quite blatantly love and honor their husbands, which is so refreshing in this age of misandry; normally one only hears of American women running down and walking out on their husbands. They draw a strong line against porn and fantasizing about persons other than one's spouse and also against the Sexual Refusal Syndrome, which is slowly destroying the institution of marriage in America. In addition to its effect on existing marriages, bachelors are increasing turning away from the idea of marriage, undoubtedly in part because they hear from married men that the sex peters out after the gal consumes wedding cake. Christiannymphos, by pointing women in the opposite direction from that, is helping to save marriage in America.
