300 years ago: The founding of the Premier Grand Lodge of England

On June 24, 1717, The Premier Grand Lodge of England, the first Masonic Grand Lodge in the world, was founded in London. In 1813 it united with the Ancient Grand Lodge of England to create the United Grand Lodge of England.

I don't feel like going into detail on the anti-Christian nature of Freemasonry, but there are a number of excellent critiques of Freemasonry from a Christian perspective.
